SIGA Reports $378M Gross Revenue for FY 2024–25

SASKATOON, SK – The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is reporting record-breaking profits for the third year in a row, achieving $378 million in gross revenue and a final distribution of income of $146 million for their 2024-25 fiscal year (April 1, 2024-March 31, 2025).

“SIGA has successfully built itself back to strength post-pandemic, and is making investments into its future with the strong growth of its PlayNow.com platform and enhancements to our land-based casinos, ensuring we remain top entertainment destinations in the province,” said Zane Hansen, SIGA President & CEO.

SIGA, as a non-profit corporation, reinvests all net income back into Saskatchewan. Casino net income is redistributed – 50 percent to the First Nations Trust, which is distributed to the 74 First Nations in the province); 25 percent to Community Development Corporations (CDCs), which reinvests the money back into local community initiatives; and 25 percent to the provincial General Revenue Fund.

“To date, over $1.7 billion has been paid out by SIGA to our First Nations communities, Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and to the Province’s General Revenue Fund,” said Hansen.

Gross revenue reached $378 million, an increase from $347 million in 2023–24. The final distribution of income totaled $146 million, up from $139 million the previous year. SIGA, as a responsible gaming operator, is nationally certified through the RG Check Program and contributes $2.5 million annually to the provincial First Nations Addictions and Rehabilitation Foundation (FNARF).
