Arizona Bettors Wager $676M in May

PHOENIX, AZ – Bettors in Arizona wagered approximately $676.6 million on sports and events in May of 2026, according to newly released reports by the Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG). This figure represents an approximate 4.3% year-over-year decrease when compared to May 2025.

The state collected approximately $4.8 million in event wagering privilege fees for the month of May. For fiscal year 2026 year-to-date, regulated event wagering and fantasy sports have generated approximately $58.7 million in privilege fees, including $57.4 million from event wagering and $1.3 million from fantasy sports.

Since the launch of legal sports betting in Arizona in 2021, people have wagered $35.3 billion, generating approximately $190.6 million in event wagering privilege fees for the state.
