PUEBLO OF ACOMA, NM – The Pueblo of Acoma is preparing to celebrate the 25th annual Tour de Acoma, marking a quarter-century of the cycling event held across the Acoma Pueblo Reservation.
The event offers 100-mile, 50-mile and 25-mile all-paved routes, giving cyclists of varying experience levels an opportunity to ride through the landscapes of Acoma lands.
Proceeds from Tour de Acoma support the Sky City Cultural Center & Haak’u Museum and its educational exhibits highlighting the history and culture of the Acoma community.
“Reaching the 25th anniversary of Tour de Acoma is a profound moment for our Pueblo,” said Charles P. Riley, Governor of the Pueblo of Acoma. “This event reflects the strength, resilience, and unity of our people, while welcoming visitors to experience the beauty of our lands and supporting the preservation of our culture.”
Riley also expressed appreciation for the riders, volunteers and partners who have supported the event and the Sky City Cultural Center & Haak’u Museum over the years.
“Tour de Acoma is more than a ride; it is a celebration of who we are,” said Riley.
Registration for the 25th annual Tour de Acoma is now open to cyclists from across the Southwest and beyond. The event supports the Sky City Cultural Center & Haak’u Museum’s mission to preserve Acoma heritage through exhibits and educational programming.
