UNCASVILLE, CT – Second Wind IV Therapy has opened at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, offering physician-directed IV therapy and other wellness services near the main entrance of Mohegan Sun Arena.
Jeff Hamilton, President & GM of Mohegan Sun; Kevin Lowry, Assistant General Manager; and other team members joined Second Wind IV Therapy owners Dr. Robert W. Kipp and Kimberly Kipp, RN, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the opening.
“We created Second Wind to give Mohegan Sun guests a place to recharge, recover, and feel their best without stepping away from everything that makes their visit special,” said Dr. Robert Kipp, owner of Second Wind IV Therapy. “From the beginning, we wanted this to be more than a place to receive an IV. We wanted to create an experience that is comfortable, convenient, and supported by a clinical team that genuinely cares about every person who walks through our doors. To finally open those doors at Mohegan Sun is incredibly exciting for Kimberly and I.”
Guests can register online, select an appointment time, complete a health history and participate in a physician telehealth consultation before their visit. Walk-in appointments are also accepted.
Second Wind offers IV therapy, injectable vitamins, peptides and weight management programs. Its menu includes casino-themed infusions such as High Roller, Pre-Game, Full House Defense, Double Down, The Showstopper and 7 Out. Individual injections include B-12, Vitamin D, glutathione and biotin.
“We’re thrilled to officially welcome guests to Second Wind IV Therapy at Mohegan Sun,” said Hamilton. “This new addition to The Shops at Mohegan Sun brings a wellness experience that has become a popular part of modern travel, offering guests convenient access to the personalized treatments and recovery services. With more than 30 unique offerings, from Tesla and Coach to Tommy Bahama and Athleta, The Shops at Mohegan Sun continues to evolve with the diverse interests of our guests, and we’re thrilled to add this exciting wellness destination into that mix.”
