PHOENIX, AZ – Bettors in Arizona wagered approximately $599.5 million on sports and events in July of 2026, according to newly released reports by the Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG). This figure represents an approximate 29.3% increase year-over-year when compared to July 2025.
The state collected approximately $4.9 million in event wagering privilege fees for the month of July. For fiscal year 2027 year-to-date, regulated event wagering and fantasy sports have generated approximately $8.1 million in privilege fees to the state – approximately $7.9 million from event wagering and $160,918 from fantasy sports.
Since the launch of legal sports betting in Arizona in 2021, people have wagered approximately $36.6 billion, generating approximately $198.9 million in event wagering privilege fees for the state.
