PENDLETON, OR – Wildhorse Resort & Casino has partnered with Gala Systems for its new convention center and concert hall, part of a more than $100 million resort expansion that began in 2024. The project also includes a new hotel tower that will double the resort’s current capacity and expanded dining options.
Gala Systems is providing engineering, installation, training and testing of its Gala Venue® system, which allows auditorium spaces and seating configurations to be transformed for performances, conferences, banquets, receptions and sporting events. Custom-engineered, pre-programmed layouts will allow the venue to accommodate different events and audience sizes in minutes rather than days.
Upon completion, Wildhorse will be the first tribal casino to feature the flooring and seating system and one of the first venues in the United States to do so.
“Through this technology, we will book more performances, more meetings and events while enhancing our guests’ Las Vegas-style casino experiences,” said Gary E. George, CEO of Wildhorse Resort & Casino. “That process will be streamlined as the elevations, flooring and seating system are engineered into the project and can be programmed and operated from a tablet.”
The expansion will feature more than 40,000 sq. ft. of convention and meeting space, including a 16,500 sq. ft. concert hall capable of hosting more than 1,700 guests for events including national touring musical acts and headlining comedians. The Gala Venue system will allow walls and elevations to be configured to accommodate meetings and events taking place simultaneously.
The expansion is scheduled for completion in April 2027, with additional details to be announced as dates and events are finalized.
