MARKSVILLE, LA – For a second year, Paragon Casino Resort has donated $50,000 to the Avoyelles Commission of Tourism (ACT) to support the organization’s efforts to promote Avoyelles Parish as a vibrant travel destination.

“It’s important to us at Paragon to invest in the people and organizations that make our parish a great place to live and visit,” said Marshall Ray Sampson, Sr., GM of Paragon Casino Resort. “Avoyelles Parish is rich with culture, history and opportunity, and we’re honored to support the Avoyelles Commission of Tourism in sharing that story with visitors from near and far.”

The ACT plays a role in driving awareness of the region’s unique offerings, from its Creole and Native American heritage to its one-of-a-kind festivals, outdoor recreation and culinary traditions. Paragon’s donation will help enhance marketing efforts, attract more visitors and create new opportunities for local businesses that depend on tourism.

The continued collaboration between Paragon Casino Resort and ACT reflects a shared mission to showcase the best of Avoyelles Parish while encouraging economic growth for generations to come. Together, the two organizations are working to ensure that the area’s authentic Louisiana charm remains a powerful draw for travelers across the state and beyond.

“Paragon Casino Resort continues to be one of our most cherished community partners,” said Wilbert Carmouche, Executive Director of the Avoyelles Commission of Tourism. “Their generosity allows us to expand our outreach, highlight the places and people that make Avoyelles so special and build a stronger tourism economy that benefits everyone who calls this parish home.”
