Arizonans Wager $836.9M on Sports in March

PHOENIX, AZ – Bettors in Arizona wagered approximately $836.9 million on sports and events in March of 2026, according to newly released reports by the Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG). This figure represents an approximate 5.7 percent year-over-year decrease when compared to the prior March. 

The state collected approximately $4.8 million in event wagering privilege fees for the month of March. For fiscal year 2026 year-to-date, regulated event wagering and fantasy sports have generated approximately $47.8 million in privilege fees, including $46.7 million from event wagering and $1.1 million from fantasy sports.

Since the launch of legal sports betting in Arizona in 2021, people have wagered $33.9 billion, generating approximately $179.9 million in event wagering privilege fees for the state. Currently, there are 14 licensed event wagering operators and 14 licensed fantasy sports operators. The ADG publishes monthly Event Wagering and Fantasy Sports Revenue Reports on its website, reflecting figures from licensed operators.
