AGEM & AGA Golf Classic Raises $185K

HENDERSON, NV – Suppliers, operators, and regulatory agencies from across the gaming industry spectrum joined forces at the 27th Annual AGEM & AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global and raised $185,000 for the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG). To date, the event has raised $3.2 million to benefit the ICRG.
 
“We are deeply grateful to JCM Global, AGEM, AGA, and every sponsor and participant who helped make this year’s Golf Classic such a success,” said Michael Soll, President of the International Center for Responsible Gaming. “Their continued support helps advance ICRG’s mission to fund independent, peer-reviewed research that improves our understanding of gambling disorder and informs evidence-based responsible gambling practices. Raising $185,000 this year – and $3.2 million over the tournament’s history – is a powerful testament to what the gaming community can accomplish when it comes together in support of rigorous science and player well-being.”

This year’s tournament was staged at the SouthShore Country Club in Henderson, NV. Sponsors included the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), the American Gaming Association (AGA), JCM Global, Aristocrat, Catapult Global, GGB Magazine, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), IGT, Konami, Light & Wonder, Patriot Gaming, Red Wagon Institute, VSR Industries, and Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation.
 
Teams included Ainsworth Gaming Technology, BetMGM, BMM Test Labs, Catapult Global, Gabbiano Seating, Galaxy Gaming, ICRG, IGT, Incredible Technologies, Interblock Gaming, James Industries, MGM, TableTrac, The US Playing Card Company, and Zitro Gaming.
