SASKATOON, SK – Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has selected Bede Gaming as its new online gaming platform provider. The companies will develop BetSIGA, a new SIGA-branded platform scheduled to launch in spring 2027 through a responsive website and dedicated iOS and Android mobile apps.
“BetSIGA is an important next step in SIGA’s long-term digital gaming strategy,” said Zane Hansen, SIGA President & CEO. “This will be our own platform, built with a partner that shares our commitment to safe, responsible and engaging play, and it will continue to share success with revenue distributed to support First Nation communities and Saskatchewan.”
Bede Gaming was selected following a competitive procurement process. BetSIGA is planned to replace the existing PlayNow platform, which SIGA has operated in Saskatchewan since November 2022 as the province’s only legally recognized online gaming platform. Existing players will be migrated to BetSIGA.
The new platform will be customized for Saskatchewan players. Built on open, modular technology, it will support data, loyalty and personalization capabilities while connecting digital play with SIGA’s broader gaming ecosystem. Player safeguards will include identity verification, geolocation, anti-money laundering measures, security, player protection and responsible gaming controls.
