BUFFALO, NY – Seneca Resorts & Casinos unveiled a striking new mural in downtown Buffalo, honoring the city’s sports teams and passionate fans. The vibrant artwork, located at 106 Michigan Avenue across from Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino and facing KeyBank Center, adds a bold visual tribute to Buffalo’s dynamic sports culture.
The unveiling event drew a crowd of local athletes, fans, and community members, who joined Seneca Resorts & Casinos executives to celebrate Western New York’s deep sports pride.
“There are no fans anywhere who bring the passion and excitement the way Buffalo fans do,” said Kevin Nephew, President & CEO of Seneca Resorts & Casinos. “We are fans just like all of you, and we wanted to show that pride in a big way. This mural is our way of saying loud and proud how much we support our teams.”
The 65-ft. mural is an original creation by Nickey Sereluca, a designer in Seneca Resorts & Casinos’ Advertising Department. The artwork features the Buffalo Bandits, Buffalo Bisons, Buffalo Sabres, and Buffalo Bills, along with iconic Buffalo imagery such as chicken wings, Bison dip, and Cheerios.
“I wanted this to be a visual love letter to our community,” said Sereluca. “It’s a piece made by a fan, for the fans.”
The unveiling coincided with an exciting day in Buffalo sports, as the Sabres faced the Colorado Avalanche at KeyBank Center and the Bills prepared for Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons.
“There’s nothing like game day in Buffalo,” said Nephew. “We are proud to be part of the energy and excitement of the Cobblestone District, and we hope this mural becomes a part of that experience.”
Seneca Resorts & Casinos maintains strong partnerships with Buffalo’s professional sports teams, serving as the official casino for each. The company also operates sports-themed lounges at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, where fans gather to enjoy live sports action.
