Little River Casino Resort Charity Golf Classic Raises $68K

2026 Little River Casino Charity Golf

MANISTEE, MI – Little River Casino Resort (LRCR) hosted its 27th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Friday, July 10, at The Manistee National Golf and Resort. This year’s golf scramble drew 154 golfers and raised over $68,000 to benefit charities serving Manistee and the surrounding area.

“Little River established The Charity Golf Outing back in 1999, the year the casino first opened for business,” said Chad Eckhardt, Player Development Manager. “And I’m happy to say it continues to be a great success for everyone involved. It really is a good feeling to be able to give back to our local communities.”

With volunteer support and contributions from the casino resort’s many vendors, the annual event has raised a total of $1,315,993 in private and business donations over the last 27 years, says Eckhardt. Little River Casino Resort underwrites costs associated with the event and donates 100% of monies from participant fees and sponsorship funds raised.

Proceeds from the 2026 Charity Golf Outing will be distributed to numerous non-profit organizations, including: A Kid Again, Manistee Discovery Cove, Circle Rocking S Children’s Farm, Communities Overcoming Violent Encounters, Manistee Amphitheatre Foundation, Manistee Alternatives for Area Youth/The Rec at Sands Park, Miss Sawyers Kids with a Cause, Spirit of the Woods Conservation Club, VFW Walsh Post #4499, and NFW Bear Creek Post #6333.
