Miccosukee Tribe To Host American Indian Day Festival

MIAMI, FL – The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida has invited the community to experience the vibrancy of Native cultures at the American Indian Day Festival, taking place September 27–28, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Miccosukee Indian Village.

The two-day event features live music, dance performances, authentic food, artisan crafts, alligator encounters, airboat rides, and a Miccosukee fashion show. Children will enjoy carnival rides, a petting zoo, and painting classes with Miccosukee artist Cristina Osceola.

Headlining performers include Indigenous rock trio The Osceola Brothers, Cree and Salish vocalist Fawn Wood, and Mesoamerican dancers from the Ameyal Mexican Cultural Organization. Together, they provide a rare opportunity for guests to connect with Indigenous cultures from across the Americas.

The free, family-friendly festival offers a one-of-a-kind chance for guests to immerse themselves in Native traditions as tribal members share their songs, stories, and artistry. Complimentary shuttle service will run between Miccosukee Casino & Resort and the Miccosukee Indian Village throughout both days. Guests are encouraged to register for free tickets on Eventbrite to secure their spot.
