BRIDGEPORT, NY – Guests can now experience the first phase of Point Place Casino’s $50 million expansion with a weekend-long celebration showcasing new slots and updated amenities and dining.

During the celebration, guests will experience 400 new slot machines in a space that’s double the size of the casino’s former gaming floor. The newly expanded area offers guests a more spacious, comfortable environment to enjoy favorite titles and discover new games with 100 additional slot machines on the way soon.

The first phase of the expansion also includes a reimagining of the Fireside Lounge, where guests can now enjoy a 360-degree view of the wood-burning fireplace and new seating for 60 inside the lounge, plus seating for 70 at the bar. A new mixologist will be on hand, pouring craft cocktails along with the Fireside Lounge’s selection of beers, wines and classic cocktails.

Point Place Casino’s Perfect Pour Cafe has also been fully remodeled and expanded, and will continue offering its menu of sandwiches, sweets, coffee and cocoa, while a new, conveniently located guest services desk will make it easier for visitors to find assistance during their visit.

Photo opportunities, special gifts, gaming promotions and live entertainment will entertain guests throughout the weekend. During the festivities, guests will hear DJ Bill T spinning music on Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2. DJ VanSlay will also perform on Saturday. Entertainment impersonator Reuben Castillo will be on hand as well, performing as a variety of celebrities, including Elvis.

There will be plenty of opportunities to win throughout the weekend, with gaming promotions that include a VIP Free Play Bash Hot Seat on Saturday and a Free Play Frenzy Hot Seat on Sunday.

“We’re thrilled to share the first phase of our expansion with guests, especially because so many of these updates and new amenities were driven by their feedback,” said Jerry Marrello, Turning Stone Enterprises VP for Regional Casinos. “Our guests and our team members have made Point Place Casino a really special place to visit, and all of this growth won’t change that. Instead, it’s creating more ways to enjoy time with us. These updates are only the first step, and there’s even more to be excited about in the months ahead.”

Point Place Casino’s expansion will continue throughout the end of the year, with a new retail store from the owner of The Commons at Turning Stone, Joe Shapiro, opening in fall 2025 and the remainder of the casino’s new amenities arriving by the end of the year, including:

  • A new hotel to accommodate long weekends and other business and leisure travel
  • The Forest Grill, a casual, yet elevated, American grill-style restaurant
  • A new event space for meetings, gatherings, and special events
  • An expanded Burgers of Madison County menu with breakfast offerings
  • Additional parking to accommodate a new influx of guests

The Point Place Casino expansion continues the Oneida Indian Nation’s commitment to economic development throughout its ancestral homelands and reinvestment in its enterprises and the region. The $50 million expansion is the latest in a series of investments by the nation at Point Place Casino since its opening, and part of the broader growth and diversification currently underway across the nation’s enterprises, including the $370 million Turning Stone Evolution and new Verona Collective dispensaries, among others.
