Wipfli to Host Tribal Gaming Finance Workshop at Graton

Wipfli HQ

MILWAUKEE, WI – Wipfli will host “Elevate 2026: Streamlining the Path from Audit to Financials,” a two-day in-person workshop designed for tribal gaming finance, audit and accounting leaders and team members on August 26 and 27, at Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park, CA.

Elevate 2026 is a hands-on, end-to-end workshop focused on how tribal gaming organizations can improve accuracy, efficiency and control across the full revenue life cycle – from audit to financial reporting. The workshop is designed for organizations navigating increasing operational complexity, evolving technology and raising expectations around financial transparency and control.

“Revenue processes in tribal gaming don’t operate in silos, but are often managed that way,” said Grant Eve, Partner at Wipfli. “Elevate 2026 is designed to bring audit, operations and finance together so teams can clearly see how decisions upstream affect reporting and controls downstream. That end-to-end understanding is critical as organizations move toward more automated environments and stronger risk management.”

Participants will work through the entire revenue journey and gain practical insights into how processes, people, and technology intersect. Topics include gaming and non-gaming audits and how audit decisions influence downstream operations; cage operations and revenue flows, with an emphasis on strengthening controls and reducing risk; and financial reporting alignment to help ensure operational activity translates into accurate, timely financials. The session also covers the transition from manual to automated environments without disrupting operations, change management strategies that support adoption across finance and operations teams, and the role of revenue audit software, DataBlend, and artificial intelligence in improving transparency, strengthening controls, and reducing risk.

The integrated approach is designed to help tribal gaming organizations break down silos, improve consistency across teams and operate with greater confidence across the full revenue life cycle.

Elevate 2026 is geared toward tribal gaming professionals working on internal controls, the connections between audit, operations, and financial reporting, and organizational readiness for ongoing change. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits will be available for eligible participants.
