MANISTEE, MI – Little River Casino Resort (LRCR) on behalf of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians (LRBOI) recently presented the Manistee County Local Revenue Sharing Board with a check for $650,460. Since 1999, LRBOI has provided in excess of $40.7M to the board.
Funds are designated for and supplement public safety organizations, payments in lieu of taxes (PILT) and costs incurred by local units of government. Of this, local public schools, West Shore Community College, Council of Aging, Manistee Township, Conservation District, Medical Care and others have benefited.
