Applications for Harrah’s SoCal Annual Charitable Program Now Open

FUNNER, CA – Harrah’s Resort Southern California has opened applications for the return of its annual charitable program, “All-In 4 Change,” which will be celebrating a milestone of a decade with exciting surprises in store. Since 2015, “All-In 4 Change” has allowed the resort to share its success with the local community and support organizations making a positive impact in the region. Entering its tenth year, the program will increase its award allocation to $250,000 in grants to deserving Southern California non-profits, in addition to welcoming back the return of Funner, CA’s Mayor, Martin Short, as the emcee.

“In our tenth year of All-in 4 Change, Harrah’s Resort Southern California and the Rincon Tribe are committed to supporting the communities where we live, work, and play,” said Rincon Band Vice Chairman Joseph Linton. “We are honored to share our success with the local community and hope that this $100,000 increase in contributions makes a difference for these incredible organizations.”

Since its 2002 opening, Harrah’s Resort Southern California has shared its financial success by donating a portion of profits to the local community and charitable causes. The decade-long charitable initiative has donated close to $1.5 million dollars in cash to community and charitable organizations over the years, each year awarding 15 Southern California non-profit organizations. This year, the first-place grant recipient will be awarded $100,000, where previously, it had been $55,000. Mayor Martin Short will be announcing the winners.

“It has been such a joy to see the impact Harrah’s Resort Southern California has made over the last 23 years, and it’s an honor to be able to share our success and give back to the same communities that have uplifted us,” said Jill Barrett, SVP and General Manager. “Each year, All-In 4 Change is an exciting and rewarding event, so we can’t wait to celebrate the organizations that are dedicated to making a difference and leaving a lasting impact on our local communities, and this decade-long initiative.”

Non-profits from San Diego, Riverside, and Orange Counties are invited to apply for the program beginning July 1 through July 31. Applications will be reviewed by the judging committee, and on Aug. 7, eligible applicants will be informed that they have made it to the next stage. Community members are encouraged to vote for their favorite non-profits among the group of finalists from Aug. 18 – Sept. 2, and when the polls close, votes will be tabulated to count for 50 percent of the overall score. The remaining 50 percent of the score will be determined by a carefully selected committee at Harrah’s Resort Southern California. Winners will be notified on Sept. 8, and publicly announced at the “All-In 4 Change” luncheon on Sept. 30 with the grant allocations and awards as follows:

  • 1st Place Grant: $100,000
  • 2nd Place Grant: $40,000
