FORT MCDOWELL, AZ – Phoenix Magazine revealed the “Best of the Valley” awards in its July/August 2021 issue with the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort named “Best Casino” in the Reader’s Choice section.
Winners were determined by online voting in 186 categories from May 1-21, 2021, and the casino resort topped the Lifestyle & Entertainment category, followed seven winners later by We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, another enterprise of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, as “Best Golf Course.”
“That the nearly 400,000 Phoenix Magazine readers voted us ‘Best Casino’ means a lot to all of us at the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort and Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation,” said Craig Benell, Marketing Director. “These are the people who play at our slot machines and tables, dine in our restaurants, listen to our live music and stay at our AAA Four Diamond hotel.
