OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The United Indian Nations of Oklahoma (UINO) will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Tribal Service Center in Oklahoma City.
The event will bring together tribal, state, and national leaders to address issues impacting tribal nations across Oklahoma, including the federal government shutdown’s impact on tribal programs, taxation, gaming, MMIP, sovereignty, healthcare, and advocacy priorities.
Scheduled speakers include:
- Mark Macarro, President, National Congress of American Indians; Chairman, Pechanga Band of Indians
- David Bean, Chairman, Indian Gaming Association; Councilmember, Puyallup Tribe
- Gentner Drummond, Oklahoma Attorney General
- Reggie Wassana, Governor, Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes (Host)
- Herschel Gorham, Lt. Governor, Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes (Host)
- Deborah Dotson, Councilwoman, Delaware Nation
- David Hill, Chief, Muscogee Nation
- Ben Barnes, Chief, Shawnee Tribe
- Tasha Mousseau, Vice President, Wichita and Affiliated Tribes
- Norman Hildebrand, Second Chief, Wyandotte Nation
The meeting will run 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with breakfast beginning at 8:00 a.m.
