PORTERVILLE, CA – Veterans will be celebrated at Eagle Mountain Casino with a variety of events including the Tule River Veterans Pow Wow that will take place on Veteran’s Day November 10th and continue November 11th and 12th. Grand Entries for the 2023 Tule River Veterans Pow Wow are Friday November 10th at 7:00pm, Saturday November 11th at 1:00pm and 7:00pm, and on Sunday the Grand Entry is scheduled for 1:00pm.
The 2023 Tule River Tribe Veterans Pow Wow will feature a Northern and Southern Drum Contest with prizes for 1st place $5,000; 2nd place $3,000; and 3rd place $1,000. A dance contest will also be held for a variety of men’s, women’s and youth categories, featuring cash prizes.
Camping will be available on site and the event is open to the public. The Pow Wow will be presented indoors at the Eagle Mountain Casino Event Center.
