Tribal Ready Partners With Aqualinq

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tribal Ready, a Native-owned public benefit corporation focused on improving broadband access in tribal communities, has partnered with Aqualinq, a company specializing in fiber optic deployment strategies. The collaboration aims to support the development of broadband infrastructure across tribal lands in North America.

Tribal Ready’s work centers on addressing the digital divide in tribal areas by expanding access to high-speed internet. Through this partnership with Aqualinq, the organization plans to continue efforts to improve connectivity in underserved regions, supporting services such as education, healthcare, economic development, and public safety.

“This partnership represents a powerful step forward in realizing a future where connectivity knows no boundaries,” said Ralph Sagher, CEO of Aqualinq. “At Aqualinq, we’re proud to join forces with Tribal Ready in a shared mission to bridge the digital divide and bring transformative access to tribal communities. Our values are deeply aligned – we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to connect, thrive, and shape their future through reliable, high-speed communication. With our breakthrough fiber deployment technology, we’re not just building networks – we’re unlocking potential. Our solution offers a sustainable, fast, and cost-effective alternative to traditional buried fiber, without the environmental impact. For remote and historically underserved communities, this isn’t just an option – it’s a game-changing opportunity.”

Aqualinq’s technology uses existing water infrastructure to deploy fiber optic cables, offering an alternative to traditional installation methods. The approach allows for faster and more cost-efficient broadband deployment while potentially reducing the need for above-ground lines, drilling, or other construction activities. By using existing infrastructure, the method aims to limit disruption and environmental impact in the communities where it is implemented.

“We are thrilled to partner with Aqualinq to bring broadband access to more tribal nations in a way that is both efficient and sustainable,” said Joe Valandra, Chairman and CEO of Tribal Ready. “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our long-term vision of advancing digital equity and promoting workforce development within Native communities. By reducing the cost and time associated with traditional infrastructure deployment, we are helping tribes build a brighter, more connected future.
