WELCH, MN – Treasure Island Resort & Casino will open its Buffalo Tower on February 10, following a renovation project that updates one of the property’s original hotel buildings.
The Buffalo Tower first opened in 1995 as the resort’s initial hotel tower. While the structure retains its original foundation, the building has been fully reconstructed and redesigned. The updated tower includes 246 guest rooms and suites. With the Buffalo, Wolf, and Eagle Towers combined, the resort now offers a total of 788 hotel rooms, making it one of the largest hotel properties in Minnesota.
Treasure Island expects the Buffalo Tower to accommodate approximately 120,000 guests in its first year of operation, representing an increase over 2024 lodging volumes. The project is part of the resort’s broader capital reinvestment efforts and ongoing operations as a regional employer and tourism destination.
