Stillaguamish Tribe Donates $200,000 to Northwest Harvest

ARLINGTON, WA – The Stillaguamish Tribe will donate $200,000 to Northwest Harvest this holiday season. The Board of Directors will present a check to Northwest Harvest the morning of the Home Team Harvest event on Saturday, Dec. 3.

The donation will enable Northwest Harvest to provide meals and groceries for community members who face hunger – an essential lifeline for individuals and families who are struggling financially during these difficult times. The donation also demonstrates the tribal community’s commitment to helping those less fortunate, making sure everyone has access to nutritious food regardless of economic circumstances.

“As a tribe, we enjoy being able to give back to our community throughout the year, but we also enjoy surprising families during the holidays,” said Eric White, Chairman, Board of Directors, Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians. “We realize that the community as a whole has had a tumultuous last couple of years and that there are even more families that could use some joy this year. We especially wanted to make an impact on as many children as possible.”
