Seneca Resorts Promotes Three to VP of Operations

NIAGARA FALLS, NY – Seneca Resorts & Casinos has promoted three team members to oversee day-to-day operations at the company’s three resort properties – Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.

Steve McCarthy was named VP of Operations at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Bryan Van Buren is now VP of Operations at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, and Dennis Becker is VP of Operations at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino. They will each oversee their respective properties and the teams responsible for guest services. They will report to Kimberlee Dunlop, Seneca Resorts & Casinos Chief Operating Officer.

McCarthy joined Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in 2004 as a Security Officer and went on to serve as a Supervisor, Shift Manager, and, most recently, Director of Security. He played a key role in the opening of Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in 2013 and its subsequent $40 million expansion in 2017, as well as the $40 million Seneca Niagara Arrival Experience project at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in 2018-2019.

A day-one team member at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, Van Buren has served in a number of roles since 2004, including Player Development Manager, Director of Player Development, and, most recently, Executive Director of Customer Service. Since 2024, he has led Seneca Resorts & Casinos’ BEST customer service campaign, which focuses on delivering world-class service at every touchpoint across the operation.

Becker began his career with Seneca Resorts & Casinos in 2003 as a table games dealer and rose through the ranks of Table Games Operations at all three of the company’s properties. He was promoted to Director of Gaming Operations and later Executive Director of Gaming Operations before being named Interim General Manager of Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in 2025. Becker is a member of the Seneca Nation’s Snipe Clan.
