REDDING, CA – Approximately 500 community members attended the 2026 Redding Rancheria A Year to Remember Annual Fundraiser Dinner, which featured a Wicked-inspired theme. The event raised more than $61,000 for the Redding Rancheria Community Fund.
Guests enjoyed an immersive experience inspired by the classic film and Broadway musical, complete with themed décor and special entertainment brought to the stage by Linda Bott.
“After the incredible success of last year’s Toga: Gods & Goddesses-themed event, we wondered how we would possibly top it, but this year’s Wicked-themed fundraiser truly exceeded our expectations,” said Tracy Edwards, CEO of the Redding Rancheria. “We are deeply grateful for the continued support from our community in helping grow this beneficial fund.”
During the evening, an additional $10,000 in gifts was awarded, with $5,000 going to the Tri County Community Network and $5,000 to the Douglas City Community Services District. These organizations provide vital programs and services that strengthen rural communities and support residents across the region.
All proceeds from the Redding Rancheria Community Fund Dinner benefit the Redding Rancheria Community Fund. Since its inception in 2002, the fund has distributed more than $4.6 million to local organizations. In 2025 alone, 72 non-profit organizations throughout Shasta and Trinity counties received grants totaling $202,057.
