ONEIDA, NY – Oneida Nation Enterprises will be raising starting hourly pay for all entry-level cooks by $3 to an industry-leading $20 an hour. The 17 percent increase means full-time cooks will earn an annual salary of at least $40,000, in addition to receiving generous healthcare, 401(k) benefits and being eligible for employee housing. New culinary hires also receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus. With nearly 30 signature restaurants and dining venues across Oneida Nation Enterprises’ four casino properties that range from fast-casual to Forbes Four Star rated fine-dining, culinary employees have numerous opportunities for career growth.
Oneida Nation Enterprises is also raising starting pay for dishwashers to $18.50 an hour.
“We are proud to announce this latest investment in starting pay increases for our culinary team, who play a critical role in the success of the more than three dozen restaurants across our enterprises and the guest experience we provide,” said Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO. “In addition to industry-leading pay and generous benefits, our cooks are able to work and learn alongside a team of skilled culinary professionals as they build their careers. This is an exciting time to start a career with us as we begin the next chapter in the evolution of our enterprises.”
Oneida Nation Enterprises offers employees industry-leading pay, health care benefits, paid time-off and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
