UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan has been recognized as one of the world’s top employers, earning the No. 73 spot on Newsweek’s 2025 Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces list. The annual ranking, developed in partnership with Most Loved Workplace®, a division of Best Practice Institute (BPI), honors companies where employees feel valued, supported and inspired – principles that continue to define the team member experience at Mohegan.
Now in its third year, the Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces list is based on research from BPI’s Love of Workplace Index®, drawing on data from more than two million employees worldwide. Companies featured have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to building cultures of trust, respect, purpose and employee connection, regardless of size, location, or industry.
“Being named one of Newsweek’s Global Most Loved Workplaces for the third consecutive year is an incredible honor and a reflection of the heart and soul of Mohegan – our team members,” said Patricia Smith, Chief People Officer at Mohegan. “Our guiding principles of ‘The Spirit of Aquai,’ a centuries-old Mohegan philosophy, are practiced every day, through team members stepping up for one another, leaders creating space for honest dialogue and a culture built on trust and care. To have those values recognized beyond our walls makes this acknowledgment especially meaningful.”
The distinction highlights Mohegan’s continued focus on fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. This approach extends across all levels of the organization and is reflected in the personalized service provided to guests at its properties.
“Being named to this global list is a proud moment, but more importantly, it reaffirms that our people-first approach is making a meaningful difference,” said Ray Pineault, President and CEO of Mohegan. “At Mohegan, our culture is rooted in care, connection and belonging. And when our team members feel that, they extend it naturally to our guests. That sense of inclusion and genuine hospitality is what sets the Mohegan experience apart and defines who we are as a brand.”
The ranking is informed by employee perspectives in five key areas: how positive employees feel about their future at the company, career achievement, alignment of employer values with employee values, and respect at all levels and collaboration. Additional factors, such as diversity and belonging, leadership and professional development, were also evaluated.
“As we mark five years of recognizing the world’s Most Loved Workplaces, it’s an honor to spotlight companies that place employee well-being at the center of their workplace cultures,” said Jennifer H. Cunningham, Newsweek’s Global Editor in Chief. “In today’s rapidly changing world, this year’s list reflects a growing global shift toward human-centered leadership as a key driver of resilience and success.”
