LÜBBECKE, GERMANY – In May of this year, Merkur Group was granted a license to manufacture and distribute Merkur products in the State of Nevada. At the same time, the Nevada Gaming Commission approved the acquisition of Gaming Arts, a Las Vegas-based gaming technology provider. The transaction was successfully completed on September 15.

Gaming Arts is recognized as a pioneer in technological innovation in the U.S. gaming market. Its current 68-member team develops slot machines, games, bingo and keno solutions, as well as electronic table games, with a clear focus on the requirements and preferences of the U.S. market. As part of the acquisition, the portfolio will be expanded to include Merkur cabinets, highlighted by the recent U.S. launch of the Mod Ex family paired with Gaming Arts game content.
