BATTLE CREEK, MI – FireKeepers Casino Hotel has announced the grand opening of The Embers Bar, a vibrant new addition as guests enter from the casino lobby. In a footprint previously housing the Kabaret Lounge, The Embers Bar has been completely reimagined into an upscale, yet welcoming space, where guests can relax, connect, and enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, wine, and beer.
The Embers Bar captures the spirit of warmth and sophistication with its contemporary design, glowing ambiance, and striking light features that draw the eye from each corner of the lobby. Its name pays homage to FireKeepers’ signature flame while creating an inviting environment that blends luxury with comfort.
Inspired by the idea of fire as a natural gathering place, the design focuses on warmth and energy without leaning on literal flame imagery. The bar’s circular layout makes the space feel open and social, encouraging people to linger and connect. Polished metal accents and angled surfaces catch the light in a subtle, modern way that adds movement without overwhelming the room.
At the center, a sculptural feature rises above the bar as a simple but striking focal point. Slim bronze elements paired with soft LED lighting create a gentle, shifting glow that evolves throughout the evening. Suspended above it, a cluster of resin droplets adds texture and dimension, contributing to the overall ambiance without distracting from the experience. The result is an atmosphere that feels alive, energizing, and intimate.
Key partners in the development of The Embers Bar included a vision designed by Cuningham Group Architecture and brought to completion by Moore Trosper Construction, a longstanding partner for FireKeepers construction projects.
“The Embers Bar represents our continued commitment to enhancing every part of the guest experience,” said Michael Hamilton, VP of Food & Beverage at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. “We wanted to create a space that feels both energizing and comfortable, where guests can unwind with a drink, celebrate with friends, or simply take in the lively atmosphere that makes FireKeepers so special.”
