PERRY, OK — Fancy Dance Casino, owned and operated by the Ponca Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma, has announced a more than $20 million expansion that will significantly enhance the casino’s gaming, dining and entertainment offerings. Construction is ongoing, with an opening slated for late 2026. The project was conceived by Bergman Walls & Associates. Additional project partners include Connect Advisors, FSA Advisory Group, Bank of Oklahoma and Nabholz.

The expansion will grow Fancy Dance Casino’s gaming floor to more than 500 electronic games, providing guests with an expanded selection of gaming entertainment. The project will also introduce Buffalo Post 38, a new sports bar offering American fare, a full-service bar and a lively destination for guests to gather and enjoy their favorite sporting events.
“Fancy Dance Casino is proud to make this significant investment in our property that will continue to benefit the Ponca people,” said Rodney Fourkiller, CEO of Ponca Enterprise Gaming. “This expansion allows us to provide our guests with more gaming choices, a new dining experience and an exciting place to gather. Buffalo Post 38 will bring something new to Fancy Dance Casino while continuing our tradition of hospitality and entertainment.”
A New Sports Bar Experience
Buffalo Post 38 pays homage to the first all-Indian American Legion post in the United States, established in 1927 in White Eagle on the Ponca Reservation. The new venue will offer an American-inspired menu featuring crowd favorites and signature selections. Menu items will include smash burgers, wings and the FDC Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich. The sports bar will also feature a full-service bar with signature cocktails as well as both bottled and draft beer.

“This endeavor shows the forward-thinking mindset of the Ponca Enterprise Gaming Board, Ponca Business Committee and the leadership of Fancy Dance Casino,” said Travis Thomas, General Manager. “It also conveys a belief in our team and the product we provide on a consistent basis. That trust isn’t something we take for granted and we’re excited to maximize the return on the tribe’s investment.”
