Eagle Mountain Casino Looking To Fill Positions at November Hiring Event

PORTERVILLE, CA – Eagle Mountain Casino will hold a hiring event on Thursday, Nov. 10 at The Oak Pit in Porterville from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Eagle Mountain Casino will be recruiting individuals for all casino departments except food and beverage.
  
Over 100 positions will be available at the hiring event, including new casino relocation positions that will be open in late fall. Positions include revenue auditors, card dealers, cashiers, and maintenance workers, as well as part-time custodial and slot attendant positions. All available jobs are posted on the Eagle Mountain Casino’s website.
 
“We are still looking to fill 450 positions overall,” said Charles Farmer, Director of Human Resources at Eagle Mountain Casino.
 
To join the Eagle Mountain Casino team, the hiring event will be held at The Oak Pit located at 615 N. Main Street, Porterville, CA 93257. During the first hour starting at 9:00am, tribal members, Native Americans, spouses of, decedents of, and veterans will be allowed to enter. At 10:00am the hiring event will open to the public.

Geneva Rose, the Eagle Mountain Casino Summit Club Manager, recently celebrated 25 years with Eagle Mountain Casino and has worked as a casino cashier, slot attendant, slot technician, Summit Club representative, Summit Club coordinator, and is now Summit Club Manager.

Currently, Eagle Mountain Casino is located 17 miles east of Porterville and is a full-service casino owned and operated by the Tule River Tribe. Guests must be 18 years of age to enter. The casino is open 24/7. In addition, the Grizzly Food court is open 24/7, and the River Steakhouse is open Friday to Sunday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Eagle Mountain Casino is a short drive from Bakersfield or Visalia.
 
The new casino property is scheduled to open soon, off Highway 65 in Porterville, CA, next to the Porterville Fair Grounds. The new property will double in size, growing to over 100,000 sq. ft., featuring new dining options, 1,750 slot machines, 20 table games, and a state-of-the-art event center.
