Crystal Chalk Elected to CNIGA Executive Committee

SACRAMENTO, CA – During a bi-monthly membership meeting, the California Nations Indian Gaming Association (CNIGA) elected Crystal Chalk in a special election to fill a vacancy for the Secretary position on the organization’s executive committee.

“I am honored to have been elected to the CNIGA executive committee,” said Chalk. “My professional commitment to Indian gaming is foundational to my desire to protect tribal sovereignty and be a voice for all Indian Country.”

Chalk is currently a tribal councilmember at Enterprise Rancheria, a position she has held since 2015. She has served her tribe as Treasurer of Enterprise Rancheria Indian Housing Board of Commissioners since 2012. Chalk has also served as a Delegate to CNIGA, the Indian Gaming Association, and California Indian Manpower Consortium, as well as two tribally owned health clinics. In total, she has had over two decades of experience in various aspects of the casino business.

In addition to four officers, the executive committee has representatives from tribes in each of the four federal court districts in California, as well as an Associate Member Representative.

The CNIGA executive committee also includes: CNIGA Chairman James Siva; Vice-Chairman Mike Lopez; Treasurer Isaiah Vivanco; and At-Large Representatives Jack Potter (Eastern District), Dale Miller (Northern District), Michael Vasquez (Central District), and Josh Muse (Southern District), as well as Chris Creasey, the Associate Member Representative.
