ARLINGTON, WA – Angel of the Winds Casino Resort has announced its second annual charity softball game against neighboring Tulalip Resort Casino. The event will raise vital funds for the Arlington Community Resource Center, an organization dedicated to supporting the local community.
Following last year’s victory, there will be a rematch between the two local casinos at the University of Washington Softball Stadium. The game will be held on Wednesday, June 18th, at 5:00pm for an evening of softball action as they compete for bragging rights and to support a worthy cause.
Adding to the excitement, four University of Washington softball players – Sophi Mazzola, Tia Durst, Gabi Toney, and Jing Gardner – will serve as honorary coaches from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. These players will be on the field as base coaches in their UW Softball uniforms, and attendees will have the opportunity to take pictures and receive autographs. Attendees can also look forward to 50/50 raffles throughout the evening, and there will also be a food truck on site.
The Arlington Community Resource Center provides essential services and support to individuals and families in need within the Arlington area. All proceeds from the softball game, including raffle ticket sales, will go directly to the center, helping them continue their important work.
