PALM SPRINGS, CA – Agua Caliente Casinos has gifted $10,000 to Roy Agrium to commemorate his 30 years of working at Agua Caliente Palm Springs, making him the first person ever to reach this monumental milestone at Agua Caliente Casinos.

“It is truly an inspiration to honor Roy’s 30th year with Agua Caliente,” said Saverio Scheri, Chief Operating Officer at Agua Caliente Casinos. “Recognizing his hard work and dedication, year in and year out, he sets the bar for all of our team members and is a testament to what a great organization Agua Caliente has become.”

At the Cascade Lounge at Agua Caliente Palm Springs, casino executives and members of the Agua Caliente Casinos team cheered as Agrium was honored for his tenure in the food and beverage department. Agrium was completely surprised when he entered the room and walked up to accept his $10,000 check.

“I was the youngest one when I first started, and now I am the oldest.” said Agrium. “When you love the team you work with, it makes coming to work enjoyable and rewarding.”

Agrium began his career as a line cook in what was once known as the Oasis Buffet in 1993. He diligently worked his way through the ranks over the years and was elevated to Sous Chef in Banquets in 2010. Known for his innovative culinary skills, calm demeanor, and leadership qualities, Agrium continually inspires colleagues and guests alike.

“Roy has been an invaluable asset to Agua Caliente Casinos for 30 years,” said Robin Stone, Vice President of Human Resources. “Not only has he been a treasured member of our team, but over the years, he consistently delivers culinary magic in the kitchen.”
