Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Announces Tribal Election Results

PALM SPRINGS, CA – The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians have announced Tribal Council election results for its March 19, 2024 annual election.

Reid D. Milanovich has been re-elected as Tribal Council Chairman to a second consecutive two-year term in office. John R. Preckwinkle III has been re-elected as a Tribal Council Member to a fourth consecutive one-year term, and Virginia Siva-Gillespie was re-elected as a Tribal Council Member to a second consecutive one-year term in office. Vice Chairman Candace Patencio Anderson and Secretary-Treasurer Savana R. Saubel both continue in their two-year terms.

The Tribal Council elections are a matter of tribal law, and are managed privately by the Election Board. The results of the March 19, 2024 election were certified and became final on April 2, 2024 when the Tribal Council Members were sworn in.
