LAS VEGAS, NV – The AGEM Index rose by 93.66 points to 1,983.73 in August 2025, a 5.0 percent increase from the prior month. Compared to one year ago, the index rose 32.1 percent, or 481.48 points. During the latest month, eight of the 10 AGEM Index companies reported stock price increases, which resulted in eight positive contributions and two negative contributions to the AGEM Index.
The largest positive contributor to the monthly index was Konami Corp. (TYO: 9766), whose 9.2 percent increase in stock price led to a 53.28-point gain to the index. Meanwhile, Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) saw its stock price increase by 3.8 percent, leading to a 41.12-point increase for the index.
In August, all three major U.S. stock indices increased from the prior month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 4.5 percent over the month, while the NASDAQ experienced a 3.9 percent increase. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 rose by 3.6 percent from the prior period.
