Emerald Queen Casino Appoints Scott Goldberg Head of F&B

TACOMA, WA – Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel (EQC), owned and operated by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, has appointed Scott Goldberg as Head of Food and Beverage, bringing decades of executive leadership and large-scale hospitality experience to the property.

“Scott’s decades-long experience in our industry make him an excellent addition to the Emerald Queen Casino leadership team,” said Yale Rowe, CEO at EQC. “As we reinvest in and reimagine the guest experience, our food and beverage program is a key focus. Scott’s leadership will help us elevate our offerings and keep guests coming back.”

Goldberg’s experience illustrates a proven track record overseeing complex, high-volume operations across casinos, entertainment venues, and destination properties nationwide. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Food and Beverage at Ameristar Casino and Resort in St. Charles, MO, where he led a $40 million food and beverage portfolio spanning four full-service restaurants, two nightclubs, casino floor service, and catering operations.

Prior to Ameristar, Goldberg held senior leadership roles with Ryman Hospitality, Live Nation, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Levy Restaurants, where he consistently led revenue growth, strengthened operational performance, and managed large-scale and special events.

In his new role, Goldberg will oversee all food and beverage operations at EQC, focusing on innovation, operational excellence, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

“I’m honored to join Emerald Queen Casino and excited to be back on the West Coast,” said Goldberg. “EQC has a lot of momentum, and I’m excited to collaborate with the team to bring new ideas to the table.”
