LINCOLN, NE – WarHorse Lincoln announced that Phase 3 of its property expansion will begin February 9. The expansion will include the addition of Nebraska Ale Haus and Big Fire Chop House, along with an expanded gaming floor. Upon completion, the expansion will increase the property’s gaming offerings to more than 1,100 slot machines and 18 table games.
“These improvements represent a major leap forward for WarHorse Lincoln,” said Lance Morgan, President and CEO of Ho-Chunk, Inc. “While guests may notice changes during construction, the end result will be a dramatically enhanced destination – one that offers more dining variety, more entertainment, and an even better experience.”
Construction will take place in the large southeast parking area and will affect guest entry routes through the end of summer 2027. The casino will remain open and fully operational throughout the construction period. During construction, the southeast parking and access area adjacent to the casino will be closed. Guests will continue to access the property via 1st Street and West Denton Road, with parking available in designated areas. Complimentary shuttle service will operate continuously to transport guests to the casino entrance, and signage and staff will be available to assist guests.
