Seneca Hickory Stick

LEWISTON, NY – Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course was recently named to Golfweek magazine’s Best 2026 list of top 50 casino golf courses in the U.S.

“Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course offers a world-class experience for every golfer, from the time you hit your opening tee shot until you sink your final putt,” said Kevin Nephew, Seneca Resorts & Casinos President & CEO. “The course continues to grow as a signature destination for pristine golf and incredible service and rightfully stands among the best courses to play anywhere.”

Golfweek’s course-ratings panel, which includes hundreds of members, continually evaluates courses across the country, rating them based on a list of ten criteria. The panel members also file a single, overall rating on each course. The ratings are then averaged to produce a final rating for each course that is used to compile the magazine’s Best Course rankings.

The Golfweek listing is the second honor for Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course in recent weeks. The course was voted “Best Golf Course” in The Buffalo News’ annual “Best of 716 Awards,” as chosen by a community vote. More than 400,000 votes were cast in this year’s voting.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones II, Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course is regarded as one of the finest courses in New York State, and has been regularly included on numerous “Best Courses” lists from such publications as Golf Magazine and Golfweek. The course has hosted several prestigious competitive golf tournaments for organizations including the WNYPGA, US Am Tour and the National Collegiate Club Golf Association.

Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course is located in the Western New York countryside, minutes from the U.S.-Canada border.
