HOLLYWOOD, FL – Seminole Gaming recently hosted a job fair at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood connecting job seekers with career opportunities across South Florida properties, including Hard Rock Cafe, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Classic Casino, Seminole Hard Rock Support Services and Seminole Tribe of Florida.
The hiring event resulted in 168 job offers, filling approximately 76% of the 220 open positions available during the event.
“Based on our current economy, and things that are happening, there are so many people that are unemployed, and this was a great time for Seminole Gaming to come together and extend opportunities to the local community,” said Sherria McMillan, Director of Talent Engagement at Seminole Hard Rock Support Services. “We are very pleased with the job fair turnout and that we were able to fill over 76% of the open positions across Seminole Gaming South Florida properties.”
The event highlighted the resort’s continued commitment to workforce development and creating employment opportunities within the South Florida community.
Among the 149 offers extended:
- 81 candidates received on-the-spot job offers
- 48 candidates were selected for second-round interviews
- 20 candidates enrolled in dealer school programs
The event also attracted former Spirit Airlines employees exploring new career paths following the company’s recent shutdown, highlighting Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s role in supporting experienced South Florida professionals seeking opportunities in hospitality, gaming and guest services.
The hiring event featured opportunities across multiple departments, connecting candidates with careers in hospitality, food and beverage, gaming, hotel operations, guest services and more.
