AUBURN, WA – Muckleshoot Casino Resort has named Scott Kealoha Lutey as its new Executive Chef, ushering in a new chapter for the resort’s diverse dining experiences. With more than 30 years of experience in food and hospitality, Chef Lutey’s brings a wealth of expertise spanning luxury resorts, multi-concept restaurant groups, and high-volume standalone operations.
Chef Lutey most recently served as Executive Chef at a four-star boutique hotel in Seattle, where he led multiple outlets, reimagined menus, and elevated kitchen operations. His experience also includes leadership roles across premier Hawaii resort destinations and throughout the Seattle area, as well as working with concepts like Sam Choy Poke to the Max, Stone House Café, and Sansei, where he blended Pacific Northwest ingredients with Hawaiian influence.
In his new role, Chef Lutey will oversee all culinary operations across the resort, with a focus on seasonal ingredients, thoughtful menu development and hospitality. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration and mentorship, fostering an environment where team members are empowered to grow and succeed.
