REDDING, CA – Over 500 community members celebrated the 2024 Redding Rancheria’s “A Year to Remember” annual fundraiser dinner, which took on a Barbie theme. The event raised approximately $70,000 for the Redding Rancheria Community Fund (RRCF).

“I wondered how we were going to surpass last year’s event, but this year truly exceeded our expectations,” said Tracy Edwards, Chief Executive Officer for the Redding Rancheria. “We are grateful for the continued support we receive from the community in growing this beneficial fund.”

During the Barbie-themed dinner, an additional gift of $10,000 was awarded to the Tree of Life Charter School International. The organization offers programs like bilingual immersion, world music and arts, third language electives (French, Korean & ASL), and robotics and STEM, empowering students to become bold, compassionate leaders who embrace and champion the value of all cultures.

All proceeds from the Redding Rancheria Community Fund dinner will benefit the 2024 RRCF. The RRCF has donated over $4.6 million since its inception in 2002, with 62 local organizations in Shasta and Trinity Counties receiving funds in 2023 totaling more than $200,000.
