PLACERVILLE, CA – Red Hawk Resort & Casino has announced major property enhancements that will include a new gaming pavilion expansion, dedicated bingo venue, and a transition to a smoke-free property experience in the first quarter of the new year – making Red Hawk the region’s only non-smoking casino.

The expansion projects are part of Red Hawk Resort & Casino’s broader long-term strategy focused on enhancing guest experience, improving operational flow, and creating greater flexibility for future amenities and entertainment offerings.

“One of the most significant outcomes of this project will be Red Hawk Resort & Casino’s transition to a smoke-free property, making Red Hawk the region’s only non-smoking casino,” said Bryan deLugo, President & CEO of Red Hawk Resort & Casino. “The new gaming pavilion will serve as a dedicated smoking slots and table games area, allowing the main casino floor and primary guest areas to offer a significantly cleaner and healthier environment for guests and team members alike.”

The new gaming pavilion will provide a designated space for smoking guests while allowing the majority of the property to transition to a smoke-free environment that prioritizes wellness, comfort, and guest satisfaction.

“This transition reflects the evolving preferences of today’s guests and underscores our commitment to wellness, comfort, and community,” deLugo said. “Providing a healthier environment for our team members, guests, and surrounding community has been an important priority as we evaluated the future of the property. We believe this move positions Red Hawk as a leader in guest experience within the regional gaming market.”

The gaming pavilion expansion will also allow for the relocation of select gaming operations and make way for the development of an approximately 4,600 sq. ft. bingo room on the lower level of the casino.

Designed to accommodate up to 400 bingo guests, the new bingo venue will serve as a multi-functional entertainment space capable of hosting bingo programming, large groups, special events, and private gatherings.

“The addition of a dedicated bingo venue reflects continued guest interest in expanded gaming, entertainment, and social experiences,” said deLugo.

Construction on the new bingo room is currently underway with an anticipated opening in September, while the new gaming pavilion is expected to open by the first quarter of 2027.
