TACOMA, WA – The Puyallup Tribe’s Salish Cancer Center will host its inaugural Giving Hope Gala on Dec. 9, 2023 at the Emerald Queen Event Center in Tacoma.
The event will feature entertainment, patient stories and a live auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the center’s Patient Financial Assistance Fund (PFAF), which provides financial support to individuals and families facing the challenges of cancer.
The Puyallup Tribe established Salish Cancer Center in April 2015 with the vision of providing integrative care to all cancer patients in the community. The center welcomes all who need its services, Native and non-Native alike, and offers up-to-date conventional oncology, naturopathic oncology, acupuncture, social work and traditional Native healing services. The organization’s experienced providers and staff ensure patients feel supported and receive the most individualized care at every stage in their journey.
