MARKSVILLE, LA – Paragon Casino Resort received eight awards for the 2025 Best of Baton Rouge as voted on by the community. Leading the count of all top rankings the casino resort received was Paragon’s RV Park, which received gold for Best Campground and RV Park. The annual awards are hosted by The Advocate and presented by the East Baton Rouge Parish Library to celebrate the region’s best destinations as voted on by Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities.
This year, voters recognized Paragon for a wide range of categories. Along with the gold recognition, the voters honored Paragon with silver in both Best Casino Slots and Best Casino Table Games, emphasizing the dedication Paragon puts into its gaming floor, which has been upgraded and expanded with new offerings and additional machines in the last several years. Paragon was voted to receive bronze for five categories including Best Casino, Best Casino Entertainment, Best Casino Players Club, Best Casino Restaurant for Legends Steakhouse and Best Golf Course for Tamahka Trails.

Since 2011, Paragon’s RV resort has received a yearly perfect rating from Good Sam Club, an international organization of RV owners. The expansive RV park includes over 200 spacious RV sites and a host of amenities including full hookups, free Wi-Fi and a grill area. The RV park also features a luxurious pool and splash pad, playground, volleyball courts and a clubhouse equipped with billiards and bumper pool tables.
