Paragon Casino Resort Donates $5,000 to LACG

MARKSVILLE, LA – Paragon Casino Resort has donated $5,000 to the Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling (LACG), reinforcing its commitment to responsible gaming and community support across Louisiana.

The contribution will directly support LACG’s services, including the 988 LIFELINE, the 1-877-770-STOP Helpline and the Center of Recovery (CORE) treatment facility. These programs provide assistance to individuals and families affected by compulsive gambling, substance abuse and related mental health challenges.

“We are proud to support LACG’s essential work, which provides hope and recovery pathways for individuals and families across Louisiana and other states,” said Marshall R. Sampson Sr., GM of Paragon Casino Resort. “At Paragon, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and that includes promoting responsible gaming and supporting those in need.”

The donation was presented to Don Pledger, LACG Executive Director, by members of Paragon’s leadership team, including Paragon’s Director of Training, Lonnie R. Bridges, Sr. Bridges is also a distinguished board member of LACG and a former president for the organization.
