PAWHUSKA, OK – The Osage Nation has hired Tyler L. McIntosh to be Accounting Controller. McIntosh brings 15 years of financial work experience consisting of positions in tribal government, healthcare and private sector settings. He is a Muscogee (Creek) citizen.
“I’m looking forward to this opportunity to serve as the Controller for the Osage Nation,” said McIntosh. “To me, there is no more fulfilling financial role than assisting a tribal nation in delivering services to its citizens, members and people.”
The Controller is responsible for all accounting functions of the Nation, including financial reports, supervising accounting staff, assistance in budget development, maintaining accounting systems, review and implementation of internal controls, among other accounting duties.
“We are really looking forward to working with Mr. McIntosh,” said Christian Johnson, Osage Nation Director of Operations. “He comes to us with a lot of experience and knowledge. I’m sure he will make the Accounting Department flourish under his leadership.”
