JACKSON, CA – Jackson Rancheria is sharing the success of its employee scholarship program, designed to support the educational ambitions of its employees. The Jackson Rancheria Scholarship Fund provides up to $5,000 to employees pursuing classes, certificates, or degree programs through Amador College Connect and one of its four community college partners.
The Jackson Rancheria Scholarship Fund is administered by the Amador Community College Foundation. The program’s impact can be seen in the story of employee Alisha Powers, who recently earned a Business Certificate with the help of the scholarship.
Employees of Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort who have completed at least 90 days of employment and are seeking education in an area of study specific to their position, department, or career path are eligible to receive the scholarship. Participants can enroll in courses through one of Amador College Connect’s accredited community college partners and will meet with an Amador College Connect representative to discuss educational goals. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees, and books.
