MARICOPA, AZ – Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino has been recognized as an Outstanding Donor by Soldier’s Best Friend, a non-profit organization that pairs veterans living with military service-related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with service or therapeutic companion dogs.
Through Harrah’s Ak-Chin’s Caesars Makes Change NRT kiosk donation program, guests have the opportunity to support meaningful community causes by donating up to $0.99 in change when cashing out slot machine vouchers. In six months, the initiative has raised nearly $20,000 for Soldier’s Best Friend.
The funds will help support the organization’s mission of empowering veterans through life-changing partnerships with trained dogs that provide companionship, support and improved quality of life.
