LAS VEGAS, NV – Global Gaming Expo (G2E), presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organized by RX, has announced Monday Main Stage programming featuring tribal gaming leaders and advocates discussing concerns surrounding prediction markets and their impact on tribal gaming and regulatory frameworks.
“Prediction markets are an existential threat to tribal gaming and tribal sovereignty,” said Victor Rocha, Conference Chair of the Indian Gaming Association. “We created this keynote because this fight demands a unified response. When we stand together, Indian Country is a political, legal and economic force that cannot be ignored.”
“The Power of Unity: Confronting the Prediction Markets Challenge” will take place Monday, Sept. 28, at 4 p.m. The discussion will examine the growth of prediction markets, ongoing litigation and jurisdictional questions, as well as legal, political and public policy strategies involving tribal gaming, sovereignty and regulatory authority.
Jason Giles, Executive Director of the Indian Gaming Association (IGA), will moderate the discussion featuring David Bean, Chairman of IGA; Bill Miller, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association; Holly Macarro, Tribal Advocate and Political Strategist, Federal Government Relations, and Principal of The Angle; and James Siva, Chairman of the California Nations Indian Gaming Association (CNIGA).
Following the Main Stage programming, G2E will host its Welcome Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. in Venetian Ballroom F, providing attendees an opportunity to connect with colleagues and industry leaders and continue the day’s discussions.
